About
our founder
Greg Andeck is the Founder of Milltown Associates, a conservation-focused consultancy based in North Carolina.
Prior to founding Milltown, Greg served in leadership positions at the National Audubon Society (NC Office) where he expanded partnerships with state leaders, conservation nonprofits, donors and advocates to protect and restore the most important habitats for birds and people across the state. At Audubon, he helped secure significant state funding for high priority land conservation projects and played a key role in protecting Lea-Hutaff Island, one of the Southeast’s most important barrier islands for rare birds and sea turtles. In addition to his work at Audubon, Greg has held leadership positions at Environmental Defense Fund and The Change Climate Project, where he launched sustainability and climate initiatives with leading businesses.
Mr. Andeck has served on several boards and committees including Envision Charlotte and the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation (Trustee). During his term as Chair of the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, the organization initiated deeper connections with local communities and launched an initiative to protect the Parkway’s viewshed and natural landscape.
Greg received an M.E.M from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University and a B.S. in Natural Resources cum laude from Cornell University.
